- Patrick McCabe Added 02/11/2017★ ★ ★ ★ ★An 18th century mill that has been converted into an interpretive center for the Round Tower and Church Gable that are the remains of the ancient monastery of Saint Cronan around which the town grew.
The ticket for here also entitles you to a tour of the nearby Castle and Damer House, and vice-versa. The guides provide information on the monastery and mill. Inside the now glass fronted building is the 10th century high cross, a replica stands across the road, along with the Roscrea pillar. - Andrew Challis Added 08/07/2017★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Very good price but there could be a bit more to see.
